The order a house goes together

Foundation
Footings, rebar and the slab. Every wall in the house is set out from these lines, so they are the ones worth getting right.
Framing
The lumber that carries the building: walls, headers, joists and the roof structure, all of it square and plumb before anything else lands on it.
Plumbing
Supply lines, drains, vents and gas run inside the walls while they are still open. It is the last thing you want to cut back into.
Finishes
Drywall, tile, flooring, cabinets and paint. The only layer most people ever see, and the one that shows every shortcut underneath it.

No. We are transparent in our contracts about extra work, and we tell you up front that surprises can come up once a wall is open. You know where the price stands before we go ahead.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on the project, so we look at it with you and put it in a contract. We are not the cheapest option; clients hire us for professionalism, communication and craftsmanship.
What is included in the estimate?
Our contracts are transparent about the work and about any extra work, so you can see what is covered before you sign.
Can you help with design ideas and materials?
Yes. Most homeowners know the quality of our work and need guidance on materials and how construction works, and we walk you through it while keeping the project within your budget.
How do I know the project stays on track?
We communicate clearly, keep you updated, respect your home, and stay open about costs and timelines from the first walkthrough to the last day.
Do you do the plumbing yourselves?
Yes. We are a plumbing company and a general contractor, so on a remodel or a new build the same company runs the rough plumbing, the finish plumbing and the construction around it.
Can I come to the site while you are working?
Please do. Most contractors would rather the client stayed away and did not ask questions. We welcome you coming in to check the work and ask whatever you want to ask.
How do you keep the site clean?
Plastic goes down, and we clean up as we go rather than at the end. Before a weekend or a rain we bag the debris and clear the muddy spots so nothing is left for somebody to trip over.
